COLIDAS JET SET was 1979, 1980 & 1987 NZ National Supreme Champion Appaloosa. Son of the Performance Sire "Colidas Lad".
Colidas Jet Set received training from such trainers as Glen Campin, and John Awburn. Such was his temperament Kelly Campin rode him in the Appaloosa princess
Contest when she was only six years old. He enjoyed Pleasure, Trail and games and was great to watch in Western Riding.
As a sire he has been highly successful. He has won ten of nineteen "Get OF Sire" Classes at National Shows. Three times National Supreme Champion himself,
four of his progeny have also won National Supreme Champion titles.
Although he wasn't a tall horse, he regularly produced bigger than himself. A good example was "Red Cloud" a showjumper who was a very tall horse. Jet Set was a
good all-round sire producing progeny performing in every field of Equestrian Sport with athletic ability from racing (Southbound McCue) dressage (Colidas Charisma)
and western (Jagadys Jetson) to name three. His broodmare daughters have produced many Champions and his colts while fewer in number have also produced outstanding stock.
In 1997 Colidas Jet Set was awarded The "American International Trophy".
